Culture
But not only Media, also Culture was very important during growing up. I am still in INDIEaner Sound, an alternative DJ-Collective, which is pretty much on the road.
Before founding INDIEaner Sound in 2006, I have also been a singer in Pocket Rocket, an austrian pop-punk-band. They have recently completed a two months US-tour in March and April 2009, by the way.
In 2005, I started working in the Sankt Pölten youth-culture-hall frei:raum, where I learned very much and spent so much time, that I'd call the hall my living-room and the employees my family. After reconstructing its premises, the frei:raum is most likely to be Lower Austrians most beautiful club.
Recently I also started playing around with own productions, but I'd not call it serious at all. If you wanna check it out, you'll can have a look for Gordon Dry Club on MySpace.
In November 2009 some collegues asked me to help them promote a party for lower austrian students in Vienna. So we did some brainstorming and founded the so called "STPiennale" which happens each semester in one viennese club.
My most recent project, and I really want you to check it out, is WannaPlayVienna.at, a project to promote young independet artists by giving them opportunities to present their songs, pictures, movies, poems, etc. on stage in Vienna.
